In Uzbekistan, Ramadan Hayit will be celebrated on March 30

The information from the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan that the first day of Ramadan Hayit in the current year will fall on March 30, Sunday, has been accepted for reference, and it is determined that Ramadan Hayit will be widely celebrated as a holiday in Uzbekistan on March 30, 2025.
According to Article 208 of the Labor Code:

Since the first day of Ramadan Hayit, which is considered a non-working holiday, falls on Sunday in 2025, this day off will be moved to Monday, March 31.

It is accepted that in cases of production-technical and organizational conditions (such as continuous production, daily service to the public, working on a shift basis, and others), holidays cannot be moved for work that cannot be interrupted.
The Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regional and Tashkent city authorities, the Committee on Religious Affairs, the Association of Mahallas of Uzbekistan, the National Social Protection Agency, and other partner organizations will jointly take the necessary measures to hold Ramadan Hayit in line with the national traditions and customs of our people.
The Committee for Tourism, together with the Ministry of Transport, will create favorable conditions and opportunities for our fellow citizens to visit sacred sites and historical landmarks during Ramadan Hayit.
The National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan, the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan, and other mass media are recommended to widely cover events related to the celebration of Ramadan Hayit.
