The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan will hold an informal meeting in Almaty.

At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, will visit the city of Almaty on March 29 for a working visit to hold an informal high-level meeting.
The delegations of both countries will discuss issues related to the consistent deepening of Uzbek-Kazakh relations of good neighborliness, strategic partnership, and alliance, as well as relevant aspects of the international and regional agenda.
The focus will be on expanding practical cooperation in trade, industrial cooperation, transport and logistics, energy, agriculture, and water management, as well as continuing active interregional contacts and cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
It is worth noting that a similar bilateral meeting between the leaders of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan took place in the city of Khiva in early April of last year.
