Congratulations to the people of Uzbekistan on the occasion of Ramadan Eid

Dear Compatriots,
I sincerely congratulate you, our entire nation, on the great holiday – the blessed Ramadan Eid, and express my deep respect and best wishes to all of you from the bottom of my heart.
In these wonderful moments, we thank the Almighty for allowing us to spend the blessed month of Ramadan in dignity, and with great joy, we join our people in celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
Undoubtedly, the noble values of the holy religion of Islam, which embody high humanitarian ideas, are in harmony with the transformations taking place today in New Uzbekistan, and this was especially evident during the month of Ramadan.
First and foremost, it should be noted that our country has created all the necessary conditions for Muslims to freely perform rituals and prayers, and to observe this sacred month at a high level in accordance with national traditions and values. During this time, spiritual purification and tolerance acquire special meaning, along with qualities such as the ability to be grateful and a desire to do good.
Life and all activities during this bright time have been permeated by the idea that "Ramadan is a month of generosity, unity, and magnanimity," which has further strengthened the atmosphere of peace, friendship, kindness, and compassion in our society.
It should also be noted that many charitable events were organized with visits to low-income families, the elderly, the lonely, people in need, and people with disabilities, providing them with assistance, improving homes and neighborhoods, and mass tree planting with the participation of three generations, as well as the creation of new gardens and parks. In particular, the Iftar ceremonies held across the country, which brought together representatives of a multi-national and multi-confessional public, clearly demonstrated once again that our strength lies in unity and harmony.
These events, which have become a good tradition in recent years, are an integral part of ensuring the interests, honor, and dignity of the person in the country, and they reflect the unity of our hardworking and noble people as one united and friendly family. We will certainly continue this work, which holds great significance for us.
Dear friends,
As is known, Islam is primarily a teaching that elevates humanity, science, knowledge, enlightenment, and the best qualities.
In recent years, enormous attention has been given to expanding, studying, and widely promoting the rich scientific and spiritual heritage of our people, created based on Islamic civilization and culture. It is for this purpose that new educational centers, religious institutions, and sacred pilgrimage sites are being built and effectively functioning.
Undoubtedly, this testifies to the consistent development of our blessed land alongside all other spheres, including spiritual and educational life. While noting the worthy contribution of the Muslims of our country and our entire people to this noble cause, I express my sincere gratitude to all of you.
On this joyful day, we warmly congratulate our compatriots living abroad, who love their Motherland dearly, and we send them our best wishes.
We also warmly congratulate all Muslims from near and far abroad, and we send our friendly greetings to their peoples and countries.
Dear Compatriots,
Once again, I wholeheartedly congratulate you on Ramadan Eid, and wish you good health, happiness, and prosperity for your families.
May all our good intentions and prayers made during the month of Ramadan be fulfilled!
May the Almighty protect our Motherland and our people!
Happy Eid al-Fitr!
Shavkat Mirziyoyev,
President of the Republic of Uzbekistan
