The President of Uzbekistan has arrived in Khujand

President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has arrived in the city of Khujand on a working visit.

At the airport, he was welcomed by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

In honor of the arrival of Uzbekistan's leader, national flags were raised, and cultural and artistic figures presented traditional musical and dance performances.

Today, a trilateral meeting of the presidents of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan will take place.

According to the agenda, discussions will focus on further strengthening friendship, good-neighborly relations, and strategic partnership, as well as expanding trade, economic, and cultural-humanitarian cooperation.

Following the negotiations, the signing of the Treaty on the junction point of the state borders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan is expected.

The presidents will also attend a joint concert by master artists.
