The working visit to Khujand has concluded

The working visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Tajikistan has concluded.

As part of the intensive high-level program in the city of Khujand, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held negotiations with President Emomali Rahmon and participated in a joint meeting of the leaders of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Kyrgyzstan.

A ceremony was held to unveil the symbolic Friendship Stele, along with the signing of the historic Treaty on the junction point of the state borders of the three countries.

The leaders visited the historical and cultural complex – the Khujand Fortress – and attended a joint concert featuring renowned artists.

At the airport, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, was seen off by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

The head of our state departed for the city of Tashkent.
