The President of Uzbekistan received a delegation from China

On April 1, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, received a delegation from the People's Republic of China, headed by Liu Jianchao, the Head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
The distinguished guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of China, Xi Jinping, to the head of our state.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the further expansion of multifaceted cooperation and practical interaction between Uzbekistan and China in line with the agreements made at the highest level.
The highest level of friendship and all-weather comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and China achieved in recent years was particularly highlighted with satisfaction.
The volumes of mutual trade and investment continue to grow steadily, the number of joint projects and enterprises involving leading companies in priority sectors of the economy is increasing.
Practical work is underway on the project to build the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway.
The intense interregional contacts and cultural-humanitarian exchange were highly praised. This year, the next Regional Forum and Educational Forum will be held.
Special attention was given to the need to further expand inter-parliamentary and inter-party cooperation, particularly in areas such as poverty reduction, combating corruption, accelerated digitalization, and industrialization.
The importance of further developing cooperation in higher and vocational education was noted, including the opening of branches of leading Chinese universities in our country.
