The leaders of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda

On April 5, a telephone conversation took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev.
The heads of state discussed current issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda.
Special attention was given to accelerating the implementation of cooperation projects and programs in trade, economy, investment, and humanitarian spheres.
The schedule of upcoming high-level meetings was reviewed.
An exchange of views also took place on issues of regional cooperation, including within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States and the Economic Cooperation Organization.
