Uzbekistan – China: Projects will be launched within the framework of the local budget program

"During a meeting with the Chairman of the Senate, Tanzila Narbaeva, the importance of cooperation between the Audit Chamber and the parliament in the process of forming the state budget and its effective use was emphasized.

An exchange of views took place regarding cooperation with China in this area, improving the qualification of personnel, and the enhancement of the legislative system in this direction.

Attention was also drawn to the significance of a gender-based approach when developing budget policy, particularly in areas such as trade and economy, agriculture, education, healthcare, and the development of women’s entrepreneurship.

As part of the development of interregional dialogue, an agreement was reached to launch projects aimed at strengthening parliamentary control in the process of forming local budgets.
