Meeting Between the Head of the Migration Agency of Uzbekistan and the Deputy Speaker of the Polish Senate

On May 6, 2025, a meeting took place between the Head of the Migration Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Behzod Musayev, and the Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Michał Kamiński.
During the talks, the sides engaged in a constructive exchange of views on the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in the field of migration. Particular attention was paid to enhancing legal labor migration, protecting the rights and interests of migrant workers, and expanding opportunities for professional training and qualification recognition for Uzbek citizens in Poland.
Both parties emphasized the importance of further strengthening mutual relations and expressed readiness to develop and implement joint projects in areas of mutual interest. This includes cooperation on digitalization of migration processes, experience-sharing between institutions, and potential initiatives aimed at facilitating the integration of migrants into host societies.
The meeting served as a platform to reaffirm the shared commitment of Uzbekistan and Poland to deepen strategic dialogue and foster a practical partnership in the sphere of migration governance. The parties agreed to maintain regular contact and explore concrete steps to advance bilateral initiatives in the near future.
