Bakhtiyor Saidov met in Kuwait with Jasem bin Mohammed Al-Budaiwi

According to reports from Middle Eastern publications, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, who is in Kuwait City to participate in the third meeting of foreign ministers within the framework of the "Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council" strategic dialogue, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Council, Jasem bin Mohammed Al-Budaiwi.
The articles emphasize that the central topic of the negotiations was the successful organization of the upcoming "Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council" summit, which is set to take place in Samarkand. During the dialogue, the participants noted the deep historical roots and shared values uniting the countries of the two regions, and endorsed the need to establish a solid foundation for long-term cooperation.
The Joint Action Plan for 2023–2027 was also reviewed. The document covers a range of areas, including political and security dialogue, economic, trade, and investment cooperation, as well as collaboration in education, healthcare, culture, media, youth, and sports.
Both sides reaffirmed the need to intensify efforts to implement this plan in the interests of both parties.
