Official Statement: 641 active cases in Uzbekistan

Head of the State Inspection of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the Republic of Uzbekistan Nurmat Otabekov:

– 3261 cases of coronavirus infected have been registered in the country. According to the Ministry of Health, 2607 (more than 81 percent) people have fully recovered to date. Three patients’ condition out of 641 being treated in clinics, is assessed as serious. One person is in critical condition.

Quarantine measures continue in Uzbekistan. More than 45 thousand citizens are quarantined, of which more than 20 thousand are in hospitals.
